12 Days Of Christmas Nail Art Challenge | Day 10 - Santa

Hello my lovelies! I hope you're all good, only 6 more sleeps until Christmas! Eeeeeeeeek!!! I'm so excited!!! So today I have another mani from the 12 Days Of Christmas Challenge and been taking part in and can you believe it's day 10 already! Only 2 more left to do *cue the sad faces* So let me show you what I did.

I'm so pleased with how this turned out. I didn't just want to do one design I wanted to do different designs that represent Santa. It's not perfect but I really enjoyed doing this design!

I kept the colours simple as I didn't want to go too wild with them. I started with a base colour of Models Own nude beige and then I decided what designs were going to go on which fingers. I kept it simple with some stripes on the thumb then I did his boot (yes it really is a boot) on my index finger, his jacket, face and then of course his hat. I like how cute it is. I really hope you all like this and I can't wait to get started on another mani.

Until Next Time, Keep Polishing.

Collection 2in1 Base Coat & Ridge Filler
Models Own in Nude Beige
17 mini in Risky Red

12 Days Of Christmas Nail Art Challenge | Day 9 - Snowmen

Good Evening lovelies, it's me again. I have another Christmas mani to share with you. It's Day 9 of the Christmas Challenge and today's challenge is Snowmen. I knew exactly what polishes I wanted to use for this mani.

I started off with 2 coats of Avon Nailwear Pro in Vintage Blue leaving it to dry completely. Then I added Models Own Jack Frost over the top. Then sponged on some Models Own in Snow White to give my nails the effect f snow covering them.

I left my ring finger as an accent of a snowman's face. I used my dotting tools to make the snowman on my middle finger. I was quite pleased with how this turned out and I really love how snowy and cold this manicure looks. It was really simple to do. I hope you like this mani and have been enjoying my creations.

Until Next Time, Keep Polishing.

12 Days Of Christmas Nail Art Chalenge | Day 8 - Holly

Good Afternoon my lovelies! I hope you've all had a fab weekend! It's only 8 more days until Christmas!! Eeeeeeek! I'm starting to get really excited! Today I have another (rather late) Christmas mani for Day 8 of the 12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge I've been taking part in. Today's challenge was Holly and I had an idea in mind of what I wanted to do......

I'm actually quite pleased how this came out and was expecting it to be bad but it's actually turned out much better than I hoped. I went for a classic French Manicure but wanted to give it that Christmas Twist.

I started off using my Avon French Manicure set and once that was completely dry I added a green stripe on my index and pinky fingers then added 3 round red nail gems on the remaining fingers and thumb for the holly berrys then free handed the leaves. I used my Green Rio nail art pen for this. It was such an easy yet pretty design to do. It really was that simple.

Until Next Time, Keep Polishing.
For This Manicure I Used:
Collection 2in1 Base Coat & Ridge Filler
Avon French Manicure Set
Rio Nail Art Pen in Green
9x Round Red Nail Gems (for each hand)
Seche Vite Top Coat

12 Days Of Christmas Nail Art Challenge | Day 7 - Christmas Animals

Good Morning lovelies! It's me, I'm back with Day 7 of the 12 days of Christmas challenge and I have to say I'm having such a ball coming up with different ideas and trying them out. Today's challenge is Christmas Animals and when I saw this I knew what I wanted to do staright away.

I did me some Reindeers, including Rudolph! I'm not the best at freehand nail art. In fact I'm not the best at art all together but I thought I'd give it a go and these didn't turn out too badly, I mean, they could have been much worse! There's some room for improvement but I'm still taking baby steps.

I used 2 coats of one of my SEVENTEEN mini's in MoonStruck as a base colour. I then used Avon Nailwear Pro+ in Vintage Boutique for the reindeers, I outlined them in my Models Own nail art Pen in black. I also added their noses in my nail art pen except Rudolph, for his nose I used Rimmel Diamond Dust in 002 - Ruby Crush. I added antlers using my SEVENTEEN nail art polish in Bronzy then added eyes to finish them off!

I can't wait to see what everyone else does.
Until Next Time, Keep Polishing.
For This Manicure I Used:
Collection 2in1 Base Coat & Ridge Filler

12 days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge | Day 6 - Decorations

Good morning my lovely nail addicts, I hope you're all well. It's the middle of the week and it will get easier from here. The weekend is almost upon us! I can't believe it's almost Christmas, this month is flying by!! I've got another Christmas mani for you today and it's all about decorations. I had no clue what I wanted to do for this mani so I pulled out my Viva La Nails stickers and found a couple of cute ones that I thought would be perfect for this mani.

I used a couple of nail stickers for both hands. I decided to go with baubles and a heart wreath. Again, I kept this pretty simple. I reached for my Barry M LE 2012 polishes for this mani. I used Christmas Blue, Christmas Gold and Models Own in Snow White.

I used 2 coats of each polish, then on my pinky I added 2 coats of the blue so it looked like a French Manicure. I added the stickers which I found were just slightly too big for my nails and after I added my Seche Vite top coat they started peeling off. I'm a bit gutted about that because it was quite a cute mani and I really liked the stickers I chose. This challenge is going by way to fast. I'm really starting to get into it.

Until Next Time, Keep Polishing.

For This Manicure I Used:
Collection 2in1 Base Coat & Ridge Filler
Barry M LE 2012 in Christmas Gold

12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge | Day 5 - Bells

Hello lovelies, hope you're all good. I've got another Christmas mani for you all today and it's bells. I wasn't too sure what I wanted to do for this one and I wasn't sure whether I wanted to freehand something. Then I remembered that last year I got some cute Christmas water decals from Viva La Nails and so I went to dig them out. I'm so glad that I did, because there's some cute designs on them.

I found a couple of cute bells so I knew they had to be used for this mani. I kept it pretty simple because I didn't want to over power this mani especially since I'm using water decals. I didn't want them to get lost. I went for a simple red polish and chose this pretty Nails Inc. polish in St. James.

I used 2 coats of this lush red polish and then after it had dried I applied my decals and then topped the red off with my Nails Inc. exclusive polish from last years Glamour magazine in Glamour glitter. I used Seche Vite top coat to seal it all in. I'm pretty pleased with the overall look of this mani. It's great to finally get my red's out. I can't wait to get started on my next mani.

Until Next Time, Keep Polishing.

12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge | Day 4 - Festive Colours/Glitter

Hey there my beauties! Day 4 is finally here! Yay! I'm loving this Challenge and it's really getting me thinking. Thank you for organising this Jenni!!!! I really hope you guys are enjoying my mani's. Ok, let me show you my pretty digits.

Today's mani is all about the festive colours/glitters that are out there. I knew I wanted to keep this mani really simple and focus on the colours I wanted to use. I knew straight away which polishes I wanted to use so went about digging them out. Why I haven't used these before is beyond me because they are gorgeous.

I'm really pleased with how this turned out and I really don't want to take it off but I know I'll have to so I can do Day 5's mani. I mean how pretty is this?? I started off painting my thumb, index finger and pinky with 2 coats of Barry M LE 2012 in Christmas Gold, then I painted my middle finger in 2 coats of No7 nail polish in Devil's Delight and lastly painted my ring finger in No7 nail polish in Totally Teal.

Once the base colours were completely dry I added Barry M LE 2012 in Christmas glitter over the gold polish and blue nail gems to my accent nails. I finished it off with my Seche Vite top coat. I really like this. Looks like I'd better get my thinking cap on for my next mani.

Until next Time, Keep Polishing.

Good Evening my fellow nail addicts! Hope you're all having a fab week. We're having some mad weather aren't we?? Anyway, I bring you Day 3 of the 12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge that I'm doing. It's been really fun so far.

Today's challenge is Christmas Food, I had so many ideas what I wanted to do and was planning to do some candy canes. Then I thought that lots of you lovelies will probably end up doing it so I went for the second best thing.......Christmas Puds!! I started off with 2 coats of Avon's Deluxe Chocolate, then once that had dried I added the sauce using my white nail art pen.

I'm sorry if my photos aren't the best but my camera was playing up!! I think he knows that I'm wanting to replace him. I really like how my little puds came out and I love the polish I chose. I'm pretty sure I could have done better but I like these. I will definitely try them again and maybe put a little more time into them. I can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with.

Until Next Time, Keep Polishing.

12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge | Day 2 - Snow/Winter

Hello again lovelies! So I have Day 2 of the 12 Days of Christmas challenge for you. Today's challenge is Snow/Winter and I knew exactly what polishes I was going to use and what I was going to do.

I wanted to keep it really simple so I reached out for my Models Own polishes as they always have some great colours for great combinations. The combination I chose was Bloo Bloo and Snowflakes. I have to say these look so wintery and snowy!

I started off with 2 coats of Bloo Bloo which is this amazing wintery blue shade then after that was dry I added 2 coats of Snowflakes from the Wonderland collection, it's this really pretty Flakie glitter. The problem I have with Snowflakes is that it's really thick and hard to apply at first but once you start using it it gets easier. I'm really pleased with the end result though. I can't stop looking at my nails the perfect Winter combination. I didn't use any top coat for this mani either since it wont be staying on for too long.

How pretty is this simple mani??
Until Next Time, Keep Polishing.
 For This Manicure I Used:
Collection 2in1 Base Coat & Ridge Filler

12 Days Of Christmas Nail Art Challenge | Day 1 - Presents

Hiya lovelies, so I'm a little late posting this but my weekend was absolutely mental and I just couldn't find myself an hour to sit and do this so here I am. If you didn't read my last post I've decided to take part in Jenni from Nail Art Novice's 12 days of Christmas challenge. I've been wanting to take part in a challenge for so long that I thought this was the perfect one to start with.

Day 1 was Presents and I had so many ideas and had no clue where to start so I drew a few ideas then during the night I had this idea of using tape and seeing how it would look and I have to admit it turned out Ok.

These were so easy to do and I like how well they look. I used 2 coats of Soho Silver as my base on each nail then I added 2 strips of striping tape to cross each other to make it look like a ribbon wrapped round each present. I left an accent nail and I think it makes this mani stand out that little more. I then painted one even thick coat of Big Apple Red over the top and removed the tape and this is how they turned out.

I used my white Rio nail art pen to add the tag to my index finger for a finishing touch. I actually really like this mani, it is quite cute. I wanted to do something bigger and better but I find that simple looks nicer. I hope you guys like this mani.

I can't wait to do another one.
Until Next Time, Keep Polishing.
 For This Manicure I Used:
Collection 2in1 Base Coat & Ridge Filler
Nails Inc. in Soho Silver
Nails Inc. in Big Apple Red

Polish Party: Disney

Hey there my beautiful readers! I hope you've all had a fab November, can you believe Christmas is just around the corner??!! Today I have another Polish Party themed post and we decided to go with Disney as our theme this month. I'm such a MA-HOO-SIVE Disney fan so you can imagine my excitement when we decided on this months theme.

I really had no clue where to start, I had so many amazing ideas. I decided there was only one way for me to decide what I was going to choose, and that was to put Disney movie titles into a bag and randomly pick one out.

And I chose.......

Finding Nemo!!! I absolutely LOVE this movie. I didn't want to go overboard with the nail art so I decided to keep it simple but fun. There are just so many characters to choose from but I had to go with Marlin and of course Dory!!

I painted my index and ring fingers in Avon Nailwear Pro in Orange Creamsicle I used my Rio Nail art pen in white and Models Own nail art pen in black to finish off Marlin's stripes and then painted my middle and pinky fingers in Front Cover nail polish in Cadet Blue. I finished off Dory with a striper with my Models Own nail art pen in black and a striper brush with Avon Nailwear Pro+ in Inspire

I wanted something totally different for my thumb and went with a seagull, you know the ones.....'Mine, mine, mine'!!! It's not perfect but it's totally cute. I think it adds that little something to this manicure.

I had so much fun doing this mani and I can't wait to see what the other Polish Party ladies come up with. I'm excited for next month's theme too!!

Until Next Time, Keep Polishing.
For This Manicure I Used:
Collection 2in1 Base Coat & Ridge Filler
Avon Nailwear Pro in Orange Creamsicle
Models Own in Bloo Bloo

Swatched | Models Own - Tickled Pink

Hello my lovelies! I hope you're all having a fab week. So today I have a simple Pink manicure to show you. I used Models Own Tickled Pink, which I bought a while ago and had completely forgotten how much I love this polish.

It's this gorgeous pink shade with lots of silver shimmer. It's so girly and pretty and I can't believe I forgot about this stunning polish. I used 2 coats of this for a nice even finish. I also teamed it up with an accent of Northern Lights.

I absolutely love these 2 polishes together, they look so pretty. I used 3 coats of Northern Lights to make sure that it's completely opaque. I used Seche Vite top coat over this manicure to give it that extra glossy finish. If you don't have this polish I suggest you get some, you'll love it.

Until Next Time, Keep Polishing.
